Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran shared a seven-day plan with U.S. mediators: if Washington lifts its naval blockade of Iranian ports, waives sanctions on Iranian oil sales and accepts a ceasefire that includes Lebanon, Iran would reopen the Strait of Hormuz and resume nuclear talks.

Why this matters. The terms largely mirror June's 14-point memorandum, which collapsed within weeks, so the test is whether Washington accepts lifting the blockade before the strait fully reopens.
