Iran says Hormuz transit understanding with Oman remains contingent on U.S. fulfilling commitments

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi stated that the Strait of Hormuz remains closed to unauthorized transit and that Tehran's preliminary understanding with Oman will not take effect until the United States complies with prior commitments, including lifting blockade measures.
