Israel strikes an alleged Hezbollah weapons depot in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military said it struck a Hezbollah weapons storage facility in the Sejoud area of southern Lebanon on Saturday, saying the site held weapons used against Israeli troops in the security zone Israel holds inside Lebanon.

Why this matters. Strikes continue despite the late-June ceasefire, and Iran's plan demands a ceasefire that includes Lebanon, so operations there bear directly on any Hormuz deal.
