Iranian source tells Tasnim that Iran-Oman deal sets path to reopen Hormuz

An Iranian source cited by the semi-official Tasnim news agency said a deal reached with Oman lays out a path toward reopening the Strait of Hormuz to normal shipping traffic.

Why this matters. A credible reopening path for Hormuz would be a first concrete step toward easing the naval blockade that has held roughly a fifth of global oil-transit capacity offline for months.
