IRGC claims capture of US underwater drone; US says it malfunctioned

The IRGC navy said it captured a 'modern' unmanned US submersible at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz, and Iranian state media identified it as an Anduril Dive-LD. A US official told Al Jazeera an older underwater drone surveying regional waters had malfunctioned more than a day earlier and carried no classified equipment.
