Israeli troops pull back from Ali al-Taher heights after tunnel demolition

Israeli forces withdrew from the Ali al-Taher heights and repositioned to rear lines in the Shaqif area, Israel Army Radio reported; the military said it would keep fire control over the heights and confront any Hezbollah attempt to return.

Why this matters. Israel is holding the ridge by fire rather than with troops; army chief Eyal Zamir vowed Hezbollah would not be allowed to rebuild.
