Israel pushes evacuation line toward Zahrani

Israel's Arabic-language military spokesperson ordered residents of Sarafand, Tefahta and Mazraat Sinay in Saida district to leave ahead of anticipated strikes and move north of the Zahrani River. L'Orient framed the order as a shift from Sour and Nabatieh pressure toward the Saida-Zahrani axis.

Why this matters. The order makes Lebanon an active stress test for any U.S.-Iran MOU language: if the Zahrani line becomes the next operating boundary, withdrawal and self-defense carveouts will collide before signature receipts arrive.
