Israeli jets hit al-Qantara, Nabatieh al-Fawqa and Talloussah in south Lebanon

Israeli warplanes carried out at least four strikes on al-Qantara and Nabatieh al-Fawqa on Thursday evening and another on Talloussah, and fired flares over the outskirts of Yater and Beit Lif, Lebanon's National News Agency reported.

Why this matters. The overnight raids continued Israel's near-daily strikes in the south while talks with Lebanon are on hold until October.
