Kpler reports Iranian floating crude stockpile falls to 29 million barrels from 90 million

Energy data firm Kpler reported that Iranian crude oil stored on tankers outside the US blockade had fallen from approximately 90 million barrels in mid-July to about 29 million barrels by early September.

Why this matters. The sharp drawdown of Iran's floating oil reserves signals its stockpiled export buffer is running low, which could force Tehran into higher-risk tanker movements through Hormuz or accept a further cut to its oil revenue.
