Reports identify U.S. strike targets around Hormuz

Reuters/Times of Israel, citing Axios and a U.S. official, reported that U.S. retaliatory strikes hit several Iranian air-defense and radar systems around the Strait of Hormuz. Iranian media separately reported explosions in Hormozgan province, including Sirik and Qeshm Island.

Why this matters. This narrows the U.S. action from generic retaliation to reported degradation of Iranian sensing and air-defense assets around the energy chokepoint. The watchpoint is whether CENTCOM publishes its target set and whether Iran answers from coastal or maritime positions.
