Brent falls 5% to about $105 after Trump says Iran talks are in their 'final stages'

Brent crude fell 5.2% to $105.47 a barrel and U.S. crude 5% to $98.94 after Trump told reporters "We're in final stages of Iran", adding that there would be either a deal or "some things that are a little bit nasty".
Why it matters
U.S. crude slipped below $100 on hopes of a deal even though Hormuz remained largely shut.
