The Dubai Media Office said a drone struck a fuel tank at Dubai International Airport early Monday, starting a fire that civil defense crews contained with no injuries reported. Flights were suspended as a precaution and later partially resumed.

Why it matters

The strike hit one of the world's busiest international airports as Iranian officials accused the UAE of letting its territory be used for attacks on Iran, a charge Emirati officials rejected.
