Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf told parliament the Strait of Hormuz will remain shut until the United States meets the conditions of the June interim deal, Reuters reported, citing comments published by state media on Tuesday. Those conditions include lifting the U.S. blockade of Iranian ports, lifting oil sanctions, releasing frozen assets, and ending threats and military operations on all fronts.
