Yemen’s Houthi movement said it launched ballistic-missile and drone attacks against an Aramco oil facility near Riyadh and caused large fires. The Saudi-led coalition rejected the account as misleading; independent confirmation of an impact was not provided in the cited reporting.
Why it matters
A verified strike on oil infrastructure near Riyadh could affect Saudi supply operations and add pressure to already disrupted regional energy flows; Saudi authorities have disputed the Houthi account.
