Kuwait and Bahrain said their air defenses engaged Iranian drones and missiles early on Sept. 2, and a drone set fire to a residential complex in Kuwait City without casualties; Kurdish authorities said they intercepted 10 explosive drones near Erbil. Iran's military claimed hits on US-used bases including Sheikh Isa in Bahrain, Ali Al Salem in Kuwait and facilities in Erbil, but the US military did not confirm any impacts.
