Drones from Iran hit Nakhchivan airport terminal in Azerbaijan, injuring two

Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry said drones launched from Iran struck the airport terminal in the Nakhchivan exclave and fell near a school in the village of Shakarabad at about noon, injuring two civilians. Baku summoned Iran's ambassador and reserved the right to respond; Iran denied carrying out the attack.
Why it matters
The strike carried the war across Iran's northern border into the South Caucasus, with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev demanding that those responsible be held to account.
