Reuters, citing two senior Iranian sources, reported that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei had formally ordered that the highly enriched uranium stockpile stay in Iran; a senior Iranian official told Al Jazeera the report was "propaganda" and that Iran would downblend the material itself. Trump told reporters "we will get it" and would probably destroy it.
Why it matters
The stockpile, believed to be close to 900 pounds of 60% uranium, was the core unresolved demand in the talks.
