In a statement carried by the IRGC-affiliated Tasnim news agency on Friday, the Revolutionary Guards Navy said U.S. statements that the strait had reopened were 'an obvious lie' aimed at controlling oil prices, called its control of the waterway 'completely decisive', and said passage stays closed 'with full force' to ships without Iranian approval.
