Israel says it hit naval cruise missile plants in Tehran and Iran's submarine works

The Israeli military said its strikes in recent days caused extensive damage to key naval cruise missile production sites in central Tehran. It also said it hit the Underwater Research Center in Isfahan, which it called Iran's only facility making submarines and support systems for the navy.
Why it matters
The campaign was shifting from launchers to the factories that rebuild Iran's anti-ship arsenal, the weapons behind its hold on the Strait of Hormuz.
