Israel strikes Beirut suburbs; Trump says the attack 'should not have happened'

Israeli warplanes hit what the military called a Hezbollah command centre in the Ghobeiry area of Dahiyeh after Hezbollah drones crossed into northern Israel, killing at least two people and wounding four, Lebanon's National News Agency said. Trump urged all sides to 'stand down', saying the drone attack Israel was answering 'was very small and meaningless' and that 'there should be no more attacks by Israel anywhere in Lebanon'.
