Israeli strikes in south and east Lebanon kill four on Friday, health ministry says

An Israeli strike killed two men on a motorcycle in Nabatieh on Friday, state media said, and after what Israel called a Hezbollah drone attack on its troops, further strikes that night hit sites in the south and east. Lebanon's health ministry said Israeli strikes on Friday killed four people, including an 18-year-old woman, and wounded 32.
Why it matters
The strikes followed Israel's claim to have taken the Ali al-Taher ridge and show the south Lebanon front staying active despite the June truce and framework agreements.
