Event details
The Israeli military carried out new air and artillery strikes across southern Lebanon on Sunday, hitting al-Dabsha Hill on the outskirts of Nabatieh district twice within less than 30 minutes, according to Lebanon's state-run National News Agency (NNA). Israeli warplanes also struck the Ali al-Taher forest near Nabatieh al-Fawqa, hit Kfar Tebnit with two consecutive strikes followed by a third roughly 30 minutes later, and Israeli artillery shelled Zawtar al-Sharqiyah. The Israeli military did not immediately comment on the operations, and no early casualty reports emerged from the targeted locations.
The repeated, multi-site strikes come as U.S.-brokered Israeli-Lebanese withdrawal talks have reportedly been pushed from this week to October, signaling continued Israeli military pressure on Hezbollah-linked areas even as diplomatic negotiations over an Israeli pullback are delayed.
