Israeli drone and air strikes hit Nabatieh area; troops blast sites near Aita al-Jabal

Israeli drones struck Nabatieh al-Fawqa at about 8:55 and 9:40 a.m., warplanes hit the area between the town and the Ali al-Taher hills, near Zawtar al-Gharbiyah and in Mansouri, artillery shelled Haris, and troops set off two explosions outside Aita al-Jabal and burned homes in Beit Yahoun, Lebanon's National News Agency reported. No casualties were immediately reported.
Why it matters
Maariv reported the same day that Israel does not intend to withdraw from the Ali al-Taher hills despite U.S. pressure, keeping the ridge above Nabatieh the centre of the southern front.
