An Israeli special forces unit landed near the eastern Lebanese town of Nabi Chit and clashed overnight with Hezbollah and local gunmen, backed by airstrikes. Lebanon's health ministry said 41 people were killed and 40 wounded, including three Lebanese soldiers; the IDF said the raid sought information on navigator Ron Arad, missing since 1986, and found no evidence.
