Israeli police said they detained 10 suspects at several West Bank locations following last week's attacks on American photojournalist Heidi Levine and European diplomats. Police cited suspected violence, violation of a closed military zone order and illegal construction, and said they seized potential evidence and vehicles.
Why it matters
The arrests open a criminal-enforcement response to attacks that injured a journalist and targeted visiting foreign diplomats.
