Seventh U.S. service member dies of wounds from Iran's March 1 attack in Saudi Arabia

U.S. Central Command said a service member seriously wounded in an Iranian attack on U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia on March 1 had died, raising the U.S. military death toll in the war to seven. The other six, Army reservists, were killed in a March 1 attack in Kuwait.
Why it matters
It was the first U.S. death from an attack on Saudi soil, and it came the same day the State Department moved to pull nonessential diplomats out of the kingdom.
