Iranian state TV reported a large blast near Ferdowsi Square, down Enghelab Street from Tehran University, as crowds marked Quds Day; earlier that morning Israel had posted a Farsi warning to evacuate the area. The Israeli military later suggested the strike was its own, noting that the judiciary chief was at the rally, which security official Ali Larijani also attended.
