Trump wrote that he had told negotiators not to rush and that the naval blockade "will remain in full force and effect until an agreement is reached, certified, and signed". A senior administration official said Iran had agreed in principle to dispose of its highly enriched uranium, with Hormuz reopening in exchange for lifting the blockade.
