The UAE defence ministry said air defences intercepted a drone approaching from Iran over UAE territorial waters after Iran's army claimed a drone attack on US forces at Al Minhad Air Base; the ministry called reports of a missile attack on the base baseless. The foreign ministry condemned a "dangerous escalation", held Iran fully responsible and said the UAE reserves the right to respond.
