After an urgent debate in Geneva, the 47-member council adopted by consensus a resolution brought by the Gulf Cooperation Council states and Jordan and co-sponsored by more than 100 countries. It condemns Iran's missile and drone attacks, rejects any move to close or obstruct shipping in the Strait of Hormuz and Bab al-Mandeb, and calls for full reparation to victims.
