U.S. officials told CNN and Al Jazeera that the military has developed options to use GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bombs against Iranian energy infrastructure and nuclear sites if President Donald Trump orders renewed combat operations.
Why it matters
The plans put a much larger U.S. strike option before Trump and could directly affect Iranian energy exports and nuclear facilities if authorized.
