Forces aligned with Yemen's internationally recognised government said they carried out nine air strikes on Houthi positions and military equipment in Taiz governorate: five in Dhubab district and four in al-Masrakh district. The Taiz Military Axis Media Center said fighting continued in al-Shaqab.
Why it matters
The strikes open or sustain an active southwest Yemen front while Saudi-led operations and Houthi threats are escalating around Saudi infrastructure.
