Australia advised its citizens to avoid Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport and reconsider travel to other Saudi airports. New Zealand told its citizens not to travel to Riyadh airport or the Najran, Jazan and Asir provinces, and to avoid non-essential travel to Saudi Arabia more broadly, Al Jazeera reported.
Why it matters
The advisories can reduce passenger travel and aviation activity as airports and southern Saudi regions face further Houthi attack threats.
