Bessent says Turkey, Oman and UAE are enforcing US push to isolate Iran

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on X that envoys he sent abroad under Operation Economic Outcast were "delivering results": Turkey and Oman halted Mahan Air flights, the UAE stopped all Iranian airline flights, and top commercial banks in the UAE and Turkey stopped transacting with Iran. He thanked the UK, Turkey, Oman and the UAE.
Why it matters
Washington is widening pressure through third countries while Iran waits for a formal U.S. reply to a plan whose first conditions are ending the blockade and lifting oil sanctions.
