Israel says four soldiers killed in combat in southern Lebanon

The Israeli military said four soldiers were killed in one incident in southern Lebanon and two others were wounded, bringing its troop deaths in the Lebanon fighting to 10. Lebanon's Health Ministry put the toll from Israeli strikes since March 2 at 1,268 killed and 3,750 wounded.
Why it matters
The losses came as the army pushed deeper toward the Litani and, according to Al Jazeera, opened strikes on Hezbollah supply routes in the Bekaa Valley.
