The Gulf Cooperation Council condemned repeated Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia after its foreign ministers met in Manama, saying an attack on one member affects all six members under their joint-defence agreement. The bloc also called for tighter enforcement of the UN arms embargo on the Houthis and for countries to designate the group a terrorist organisation.
