Iranian strikes damage aluminium smelters in Abu Dhabi and Bahrain

Emirates Global Aluminium said an Iranian missile and drone attack caused significant damage at its Al Taweelah site in Abu Dhabi and injured six employees; the site produced about 4% of world aluminium in 2025. Aluminium Bahrain said two employees were lightly hurt, and the Revolutionary Guard claimed both sites as linked to the U.S. military.
