Iran rejects temporary ceasefire, sends 10-point counterproposal through Pakistan

IRNA said Iran gave Pakistani mediators its reply to the U.S. 15-point plan, rejecting a temporary ceasefire "based on past experiences" and demanding a permanent end to the war, an end to regional conflicts, a Hormuz safe-passage protocol, reconstruction and sanctions relief. Pakistan had circulated a two-stage framework, an immediate truce to reopen Hormuz followed by 15-20 days to settle terms, and Trump called Iran's reply "significant" but "not good enough."
