Israeli forces carried out detonations early on Sept. 3 in Haddatha and Baraachit, Lebanon's National News Agency reported. Through the day NNA also reported shelling and home demolitions in al-Mansouri, an incursion into Halta in which three men were detained, and drone strikes on the Ali al-Taher heights.
Why it matters
Local officials and analysts cited by Al Jazeera say the systematic demolitions since Israel's March invasion aim to carve out a depopulated buffer zone along the border.
