A strike on a car along Beirut's Ramlet al-Bayda seafront, where dozens of displaced families were sheltering in makeshift tents, killed at least seven people and wounded 21, Lebanon's Health Ministry said. Israel's military said it was not aware of a strike at that location, AP reported.

Why it matters

It was the third Israeli attack in the heart of Beirut since the war began, and it hit an area where people displaced from the south and the suburbs had taken refuge.
