Israeli strike on south Lebanon health center kills 12 medics, ministry says

Lebanon's Health Ministry said an Israeli strike on the primary health care center in Burj Qalaouiyah, Bint Jbeil district, killed 12 doctors, paramedics and nurses on duty, hours after another strike killed two paramedics in Souaneh. It put the toll since March 2 at 773 killed, including 18 paramedics.

Why it matters

The ministry's count already included more than 100 children, and the IDF gave no immediate comment as Israel escalated strikes on south Lebanon ahead of its ground push.
