Trump tells countries short of fuel to 'go get your own oil' from Hormuz

Trump posted that countries unable to get jet fuel because of the Strait of Hormuz, naming Britain, should buy from the U.S. or 'go to the Strait, and just TAKE IT', adding that 'the U.S.A. won't be there to help you anymore.' Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said Britain's Royal Navy and other countries should 'step up' on the waterway.
Why it matters
Washington was signaling it would not take responsibility for reopening the strait, leaving importers in Europe and Asia to plan their own response.
