U.S.-flagged tanker hit in Bahrain port; shipyard worker killed

Two projectiles struck the U.S.-flagged tanker Stena Imperative while it was berthed in the Port of Bahrain, starting a fire that was put out, UKMTO and operator Crowley said. Crowley said one shipyard worker was killed and two injured; the ship's crew was unhurt.
Why it matters
Iranian forces had harassed the same tanker in the Strait of Hormuz on Feb. 3, and the hit showed Gulf harbors were no safer than the strait.
