U.S. Central Command spokesman Capt. Tim Hawkins said more than 200 service members had been wounded, with 10 seriously hurt and more than 180 returned to duty. CBS said the injuries occurred in Bahrain, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Why it matters
The figure was up from about 140 wounded reported by the Pentagon the previous week, alongside 13 U.S. service members killed.
