Yemen’s internationally recognised government said its forces, backed by fighter jets and drones, advanced through Houthi fortifications in the al-Dahida heights of eastern al-Jawf and seized weapons and equipment.
Why it matters
The claimed advance opens another active front against the Iran-backed Houthis and could draw more Houthi missile and drone attacks on regional targets.
